Compact and Flexible Splicing Connector for Professional Installations:

WAGO GREEN 221 Series splicing connector with levers is developed for fast, safe and efficient conductor termination in residential, industrial and technical installations. Whether you are wiring intercom systems, connecting electrical ovens or handling general electrical installations, this splicing connector makes the job significantly easier. The compact connector handles solid, stranded and fine-stranded conductors without the need for tools. Simply strip the conductor 11 mm, lift the lever, insert the conductor and close it again.

With a rated voltage of 450 V and a nominal current of up to 32 A, this WAGO splicing connector is suitable for demanding high-load applications. The CAGE CLAMP® technology ensures constant contact pressure and a vibration-resistant, maintenance-free connection. No additional preparation such as crimping ferrules is required, saving both time and materials during installation.

Transparent Design and Sustainable Green Range Construction:

The transparent housing provides full visibility of the conductor position and proper contact, increasing safety and reducing the risk of incorrect wiring. The wide levers are ergonomically designed and can be operated without tools. When closed, they sit flush with the housing and take up minimal space in junction boxes and enclosures.

This GREEN version is part of WAGO’s sustainable range and consists of 77 percent bio-circular polycarbonate in the housing and at least 27 percent recycled PBT in the levers. The materials originate from post-consumer recycled sources such as PET bottles and bio-based industrial and household materials. The splicing connector is also designed for specific Ex applications according to the product datasheet.

Supporting conductor cross-sections from 0.2 mm² to 4 mm², this versatile 2-conductor connector combines compact dimensions, high performance and sustainable production in one professional solution.
