Can be reused in an installation, unlike the cheaper Wago Series 2273 which can only be used once per installation.
Wago Series 2273 • 2-push wire spring-loaded connector • 3-push wire spring-loaded connector • 4-push wire spring-loaded connector • 5-push wire spring-loaded connector • 8-push wire spring-loaded connector Wago Series 221 • 1-spring-loaded connector • 2-spring-loaded connector • 3-spring-loaded connector • 5-spring-loaded connector • 10-spring-loaded connector • Wago Wago L-Boxx Mini Kombi with 221 and 2273 series WAGO 221 spring connector sleeves set new standards for all types of conductors. This new series is 40% smaller and even more user-friendly than its successful predecessor, the 222 series. With a rated current of 32 A and a rated voltage of 450 V, the 221 series is suitable for everything from low-voltage installations to 230/400 V mains power applications. These electrical installation superstars enable faster and more reliable connections of solid and flexible conductors, while saving valuable space in junction boxes. This is not only achieved through the compact design, but also thanks to the transparent housing, easier handling, and the two test ports. Advantages of WAGO connector sleeves:• Require up to 40% less space compared to the original WAGO 222• Transparent housing allows visual inspection of proper conductor placement and correct stripping length • Easier operation thanks to reduced actuation force • All combinations of conductor types and sizes from 0.14 to 4 mm² are supported • Two test ports compatible with all standard test probes • Greatly simplifies daily installation work • WAGO's connector sleeves are ideal for space-constrained applications due to their very compact size. Installation is now much easier, and there is more flexibility for future expansions. Another highlight: the transparent housing You can clearly see whether the conductors are correctly inserted and stripped to the proper length. In addition, two easily accessible test ports – one in the conductor entry direction and one on the opposite side – provide ideal testing conditions even when already installed. WAGO’s new spring connector sleeves are also easier to use: The levers can now be opened and closed with significantly less force. Recesses on the sides provide a secure grip on the WAGO 221 in all working conditions. Global applicability – for all types of conductors The 2-, 3-, 4-, 5-, and 10-conductor sleeves connect flexible conductors from 0.14 to 4 mm² and solid or stranded conductors from 0.2 to 4 mm². They are therefore perfect for interconnecting conductors of different sizes and types. Tin-plated current bars ensure a permanent, gas-tight, and secure electrical connection. Connector sleeves in the 221 series are rated for 32 A/450 V and a maximum continuous operating temperature of 105 °C, making them suitable for ambient temperatures up to 85 °C (T85). In addition, certifications such as ENEC and UL make the WAGO 221 series ideal for use in applications worldwide.
