Stranded network cables are primarily used for connection between fixed network installation points (wall outlet/box) for connection of network equipment (computer, printer, etc.), which are known as completely ordinary network patch cables and are available in a variaty of types and color variants.

Solid core/conductor network installation cables are used for cable routing in walls and usually ends in a network wall socket/outlet.

When complicated or long cable runs are to be made, it is rarely an advantage to install connectors when pulling the cable, but instead to crimp on after installation. In these situations, you should choose a soft STP/UTP network cable, which is usually bought in whole rolls or loose gauges/cuts, and then be responsible for mounting the RJ45 connectors itself. Of course, with the right technical skills and equipment.
