High-end interconnect cable designed for pure, undistorted sound:

Supra Sword-ISL Audio is a premium analogue RCA interconnect cable developed for hi-fi systems where accurate signal transmission is essential. As one of Supra's most advanced interconnect solutions, Sword-ISL is based on the patented technology used in the manufacturer's renowned Sword speaker cables. The objective is simple: to transmit the original audio signal as accurately as possible without introducing unwanted coloration, phase shift or distortion.

The cable is engineered to preserve the frequency balance and timing accuracy of the signal, allowing fine details and complex musical passages to be reproduced with exceptional fidelity. Its advanced conductor design helps minimise electrical influences that could otherwise affect the character of the signal during transmission.

Sword-ISL is designed for analogue stereo systems and can be used between CD players, DACs, preamplifiers and integrated amplifiers equipped with RCA connections. It is an excellent choice for an ambitious hi-fi setup where signal integrity and neutral sound reproduction are top priorities.

Patented Sword construction with bifilar Litz technology:

The secret behind Supra Sword-ISL lies in its distinctive conductor design. Each polarity consists of 12 individually insulated copper strands, arranged in two layers of six strands each. The layers are wound in opposite directions around an insulating core, helping to counteract unwanted electromagnetic influences and reduce the inductive properties of the conductors.

The individual strands are made from enamelled oxygen-free copper (OFC) and form an advanced Litz construction. The individual insulation helps reduce the skin effect, where electrical current at higher frequencies increasingly concentrates towards the surface of the conductor.

This carefully engineered design provides more consistent electrical characteristics across the frequency range and is developed to minimise phase shift between different frequency components of the signal. The result is a cable construction focused on precise timing, minimal signal alteration and outstanding transparency.

A common aluminium/PET foil shield also protects the signal path against external electrical noise. This helps maintain stable conditions for transmitting sensitive analogue audio signals.

Gold-plated RCA connectors for a secure connection:

Supra Sword-ISL is fitted with robust Supra RCA-8 connectors featuring 24-carat gold-plated contact surfaces. The gold plating protects the contacts against oxidation and contributes to a stable electrical connection between the cable and the connected equipment.

The connectors feature a practical locking mechanism that ensures a secure grip on the equipment's RCA terminals. The locking mechanism is operated by rotating the outer connector housing, allowing the connection to be secured and released in a controlled manner.

The cable is supplied as a stereo pair with two RCA connectors at each end and features a distinctive transparent ice blue cable jacket. Its robust construction and advanced materials reflect Supra's commitment to long-lasting quality and accurate signal transmission.

NO-NONSENSE cables

At Jenving their focus is quality without the price going up entirely in the higher heavenly layers. All cables are based on real engineering and not voodoo, from the selection of raw materials to the actual cable construction and thereby the final sound properties.
There is, therefore, a very reasonable price/quality ratio on SUPRA cables, compared to the many exotic high-end cables on the market. Whatever the variant/price range of a Supra cable you buy, you always get quality for the money or No-nonsense as Jenving calls it.
