It combines a rugged construction with improved contact technology to deliver high reliability and stable signal transmission in professional audio installations, studio equipment, live productions and broadcast applications. The unique contact cage design reduces contact resistance and ensures a reliable electrical connection, while the integrated solder barrier prevents solder from flowing into the contact mating area during assembly. The result is a more consistent connection and a longer service life.The improved chuck type strain relief provides a stronger grip on the cable while making assembly faster and easier. The flexible polyurethane boot protects the cable against repeated bending stress, increasing overall durability. The nickel-plated diecast zinc housing offers excellent mechanical strength, while the improved solid metal latch is larger and easier to operate. Additional ground spring contacts provide improved shell ground continuity, helping to optimise shielding and minimise electrical noise. The NC3FXX supports cable diameters from 3.5 to 8.0 mm and is ideal for microphone cables, signal cables and professional balanced XLR connections.
