The braided sleeve is the ultimate way to keep a bundle of cables together, as it tightens around the cables and is terminated at the ends for a completely secure hold.
They work by having a minimum and maximum size. When the braided sleeve is compressed lengthwise, it expands, and when released, it tightens around the contents. However, this also means that all the cables must be fed through at the same time. It is important to terminate them properly, preferably with heat shrink with adhesive, to ensure a secure hold, as the sleeves fray very easily.
