Slim Cat6a network cable for installations with limited space:

MicroConnect Cat6a U/FTP Slim is a thin and flexible network cable that makes it easier to create a neat and space-saving installation. Its slim design is particularly suitable for network racks, server cabinets and other installations where multiple cables need to be routed close together.

The compact construction with 32 AWG copper conductors takes up less space than traditional network cables and makes cable management easier. This provides better access to network equipment and simplifies adding, replacing or rearranging connections. At the same time, the thinner cables can improve airflow in densely populated racks, where proper ventilation is important for reliable equipment operation.

The cable features RJ45 male connectors at both ends and includes snagless protection, which helps prevent the connector locking clips from catching or becoming damaged during installation. This is especially useful when routing cables through confined spaces.

High-speed 10 Gbit/s network connection with effective shielding:

Despite its slim construction, the cable is designed for high-speed network connections. The Cat6a standard supports data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s and a bandwidth of 500 MHz, making the cable suitable for modern network equipment with demanding data transfer requirements.

The cable uses U/FTP shielding, where each of the four twisted pairs is individually protected by foil. This construction helps reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk between conductors, maintaining signal integrity in installations with numerous network cables and electronic devices.

The eight copper conductors are arranged into four twisted pairs, which, together with the shielding, contribute to stable data transmission. The cable has also been tested according to the Cat6a Channel Link standard up to 500 MHz, demonstrating its performance in high-speed network applications.

PoE++ and halogen-free cable jacket for modern network installations:

MicroConnect Cat6a Slim supports PoE++ (4PPoE), allowing both data and power to be transmitted through the same network cable. This makes the cable suitable for compatible network equipment powered via Ethernet, such as access points, IP cameras and other PoE devices.

The outer cable jacket is made from LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), a halogen-free material designed to limit smoke emission and prevent the release of halogen-containing gases in the event of fire. This makes the cable type relevant for installations with specific requirements for cable materials and fire safety.

With its black finish, flexible construction and shielded RJ45 connections, the cable offers a practical solution for network installations where space, speed and organised cable management are important.
