The Air Helix technology in the NF-4005 AIR is the result of an uncompromising approach to sound quality. Instead of traditional insulation materials, air is used to reduce dielectric losses to an absolute minimum. Specially developed clips hold the signal conductors in a precisely arranged, free-floating spiral structure, minimizing contact surfaces and eliminating unwanted influences. This creates an open and natural soundstage with maximum dynamics and precision. The result is remarkable clarity and purity, where even the finest musical details come to life.

Connections Without Solder:

The newly developed RCA SL connectors press the conductor and contact together with 1.5 tons of pressure – completely without the use of solder. This eliminates transition points with poor conductivity and thermal stress that can occur with soldered connections. The result is a more stable, direct, and uninterrupted signal path. With rhodium-plated contact surfaces, long-term corrosion resistance and consistently high conductivity are also achieved, even with frequent plugging and unplugging.

Advanced Conductor Structure and Materials:

The Cross Link Super Speed structure of the conductors ensures even current distribution and prevents skin effects, even in complex passages and at high volume levels. Each conductor strand is coated in lacquer to prevent eddy currents and oxidation, while the entire structure is thoroughly shielded against electromagnetic interference from sources such as WiFi and mobile networks.
