With this HDMI ARC and eARC Audio Extractor, you can easily send digital audio from your TV to a HiFi system, AV receiver, soundbar or active speakers. The device extracts the audio signal directly from the TV's HDMI ARC or eARC port and converts it to both optical Toslink and digital coaxial, giving you maximum flexibility. Both outputs are active simultaneously, allowing several audio devices to remain connected without changing cables.The sound becomes more detailed, dialogue is clearer, bass is better controlled, and films, series, sports and concerts gain a significantly more engaging sound. The HDMI audio adapter supports LPCM 2.0, Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1, allowing you to make full use of your surround system when the TV outputs compatible audio formats. The product functions as a digital audio extractor and not as a decoder. Decoding is therefore handled by the connected AV receiver or soundbar. For correct operation, the TV's digital audio output must be set to PCM, Dolby Digital or Bitstream. Please also note that the volume is adjusted directly on the connected receiver, soundbar or active speakers. A common question is whether an HDMI ARC Audio Extractor works with eARC. The answer is yes, as this model supports both HDMI ARC and eARC. Another frequently asked question is whether Toslink and coaxial can be used simultaneously.
