We have put together a variety of B & O trigger cable sets for Bang and Olufsen speaker systems, so it is easy to choose the right cables exactly to its speaker configuration (2.1 stereo, 5.1 surround, etc.) - While there is obviously a cost reduction if you buy these packages rather than individually.
These Cable sets are intended for a system where you have a surround receiver or processor with pre-outs and trigger where you want to connect your active B & O speakers. . We recommend Yamaha surround receivers for this purpose, for example. RX-V7xx eller RX-A8xx as it is the smallest models with Pre-out. Note: Some may experience a humming or sizzling sound in their speakers if you connect this trigger cable to some brands of amplifiers / processors. This is due to the rigid connection that is located on the minijack trigger plug. However, this can be insulated using some thin tape on the frame connection. Please contact us if you have this issue. To select the right package, you just assume two things: . How many speakers there are in the system and which system you want, ie a stereo system with a subwoofer (2.1), a semi-surround system (3.1) or a surround system (5.1). . Then choose one version after how many Power Link connector you have on the entire system, ie 2-6 Power Link connector. Speaker system variants . 2.1 speaker system consisting of two front speakers and 1 subwoofer . 3.0 speaker system consisting of two front speakers and one center speaker . 3.1 speaker system consisting of two front speakers, 1 center speaker and 1 subwoofer . 5.0 speaker system consisting of two front speakers, two rear speakers and one center . 5.1 speaker system consisting of two front speakers, two rear speakers, one center speaker and 1 subwoofer Power Link connector number: It can vary how many Power Link connectors / cables you have on your system, as they can be linked together in many ways. By default, leading one is inclined to one cable per. speaker, but since they can be linked from one to the other, so you can often have fewer connectors than that.
