Highlights:• Active optical HDMI cable• Supports up to 8K Ultra HD at 60 Hz • Supports up to 4K at 144 Hz • Bandwidth up to 48 Gbps • Fibre/copper hybrid cable with fixed signal direction • Metal armouring provides increased protection and high tensile strength • Supports HDR as well as HDCP 1.4 and 2.3 • Flexible construction with a minimum bending radius of approx. 20 mm Active optical HDMI cable for long distances:The Delock HDMI cable is an active optical cable for transmitting digital video and audio signals between devices with an HDMI connection. It can be used between compatible TVs, monitors, projectors and Blu-ray players, for example, where HDMI signals need to be transmitted over longer distances. The cable is designed as a fibre/copper hybrid cable, with optical fibres used to transmit high-speed signals. Compared with traditional copper cables, this construction allows for a thinner, lighter and more flexible cable for signal transmission over longer distances. The cable diameter is approx. 6 mm, while the minimum bending radius is approx. 20 mm, providing good flexibility for practical cable routing during installation. 8K 60 Hz and up to 48 Gbps:With a maximum data transfer rate of 48 Gbps, the cable is designed for HDMI signals with high resolutions and high refresh rates. It supports resolutions up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz, corresponding to 8K Ultra HD, as well as up to 3840 x 2160 at 144 Hz. The actual available resolution and refresh rate depend on the connected equipment and the overall system.HDR is supported with compatible display equipment, and the cable also supports HDCP 1.4 and HDCP 2.3. Both ends are equipped with HDMI-A male connectors with gold-plated contacts. As this is an active optical HDMI cable, the connection has a fixed signal direction. It is therefore important to orient the cable correctly between the source device and the receiving display or projector during installation. Metal armouring for protected cable routing:The cable features metal armouring that provides increased protection against mechanical damage and external influences. At the same time, the construction retains its flexibility and bendability. The metal armouring also contributes to high tensile strength, which is beneficial during installation and cable routing. The outer cable jacket is made from TPU, and the cable is specified for an operating temperature range from -40 °C to 70 °C. The combination of active optical signal transmission, metal armouring and a flexible cable construction makes the cable suitable for HDMI installations requiring both high signal bandwidth and additional mechanical protection.
