Used for distribution of TV through a network cable or IHC system with CAT6 or CAT7 cables. the cable is passive and converts the signal in both directions. It is of course important that a shielded network installation is installed in the house for proper quality, and of course the cable must not be patched through a network switch, only between patch panels and wall boxes.
