Converts image and sound signals (stereo) from DVD players/recorders and digital cameras to analogue high-frequency antenna signals (VHF/UHF)
RF modulator is primarily used to convert audio and video signals from an AV device (eg a satellite receiver or HDD recorder) into a format that can be distributed via a traditional antenna installation. This allows older TVs without AV inputs to display content from newer devices.
The modulator makes it possible to send picture and sound signals from A/V equipment to any TV in the house via the existing aerial cable system. This can be achieved by using a scart connection or using 3x phono cables (RCA cables).
To connect it to the antenna socket, the modulator must connect the A/V equipment to the modulator, and then the modulator must be connected to an antenna socket in the home using a coaxial cable.
Both power supply AV cables and antenna adapter cables are included, however it is recommended to upgrade to better quality, especially with longer cable runs.
NOTE: The antenna modulator is an analogue antenna connection, so you must search for UHF channels, not via the digital DVB-T, DVB-C or DVB-S tuners in the TV.
