Uncompromising analogue signal transmission:

Supra Sword Excalibur ISL Rhodium is an exclusive analogue RCA interconnect cable developed to transmit audio signals with maximum precision and minimal interference. The cable is based on the same patented construction technology as Supra's acclaimed Sword Excalibur speaker cables and has been designed with a focus on low inductance, minimal phase shift and effective protection against electrical interference.

The objective is simple: The signal should reach the next component without changing its character along the way. The advanced conductor construction is therefore designed to preserve the signal's frequency balance, dynamics and timing. The result is an interconnect cable engineered to operate as neutrally as possible, allowing the characteristics of your audio system and the details of each recording to shine through.

Sword Excalibur ISL Rhodium is designed for analogue stereo connections between components such as CD players, DACs, preamplifiers and integrated amplifiers with RCA connections. It comes as a stereo pair with two cables and four RCA connectors.

Patented conductor construction for precise signal transmission:

The secret behind Supra Sword Excalibur lies in its advanced bifilar-wound Litz construction. Each polarity consists of 12 individually enamel-insulated OFC copper strands arranged in two layers of six strands each. The inner layer is wound in one direction around an insulating core, while the outer layer is wound in the opposite direction.

This special construction is designed to counteract unwanted electromagnetic properties and reduce cable inductance. At the same time, the individually insulated conductors help minimise the skin effect, where current at higher frequencies tends to concentrate near the surface of the conductor.

The construction helps maintain consistent electrical characteristics across the frequency range while limiting phase shift. This is particularly relevant in an analogue interconnect cable, where even small changes to the signal's characteristics are undesirable.

The twisted conductors are also surrounded by a common Alu/PET foil shield providing 100% coverage. This shielding helps protect sensitive analogue signals against electromagnetic interference from the surrounding environment.

Rhodium-plated RCA connectors with secure locking:

Supra Sword Excalibur ISL Rhodium is equipped with Supra's exclusive RCA-8SL connectors, manufactured from a copper alloy and finished with a durable rhodium plating. Rhodium is a hard, corrosion-resistant metal that helps maintain a stable contact surface over many years of use.

The connectors feature a practical locking mechanism that ensures a firm connection to the equipment's RCA sockets. By turning the outer sleeve of the connector, the connection can be tightened or released, allowing controlled and secure installation.

The cable is supplied fully terminated by Supra in Sweden. The advanced Litz construction places special demands on the connection between conductors and connectors, which is why Supra performs the termination itself to ensure a consistent and reliable connection.

The two channels are clearly identified with red for right and black for left. The cable also features arrows indicating the recommended signal direction from the source to the receiving component.

Swedish quality with carefully considered details:

Supra Sword Excalibur ISL Rhodium is developed and manufactured in Sweden with an emphasis on precision in both material selection and construction. The cable's distinctive transparent ice-blue outer jacket gives it an elegant appearance while protecting the advanced internal construction.

With an outer diameter of 8 mm and a relatively rigid construction, the cable is well suited for stationary hi-fi installations where it can be positioned without repeated sharp bends. The combination of OFC copper, effective shielding and rhodium-plated connectors makes Sword Excalibur ISL Rhodium a carefully engineered interconnect cable for ambitious stereo systems.

SUPRA Cables kabler

NO-NONSENSE cables

At Jenving their focus is quality without the price going up entirely in the higher heavenly layers. All cables are based on real engineering and not voodoo, from the selection of raw materials to the actual cable construction and thereby the final sound properties.
There is, therefore, a very reasonable price/quality ratio on SUPRA cables, compared to the many exotic high-end cables on the market. Whatever the variant/price range of a Supra cable you buy, you always get quality for the money or No-nonsense as Jenving calls it.
