If the projector or screen with VGA is in 4:3 format, it can be expected that the image will be stretched in the conversion. It is therefore primarily recommended for equipment that runs in 16:9 (possibly 16:10) format, as the HDMI signal is of this type. If you want better scaling, a more expensive solution must be chosen.
