A digital box is used when the TV does not have the correct or latest tuner built in. This can be obtained from your TV signal provider. Simply contact us if you have questions about which DVB receiver box you should choose.

A digital TV box can usually also be used as a replacement for a DVD recorder, directly as a hard disk recorder. Most models have the option of recording via a USB device, e.g. through a USB hard drive or USB stick.

In this section, you will find a selection of MPEG4 digital DVB-T and DVB-T2 receivers for receiving Digital TV from own antenna. At AV-Connection, we have chosen to offer MPEG4 receivers from, among others, Triax, Maximum, Sagemcom and Strong, as these suppliers are known for making stable and user-friendly digital TV boxes. A digital TV box connects to any TV with either SCART or HDMI.

There are typically two types of DVB-T digital receivers:
•FTA - Free-to-air receivers: Exclusively designed for DR’s free channels and free foreign channels. Some FTA DVB-T boxes have built-in USB recording which can record either via external hard drive or USB stick.
•FTA - Free-to-air receivers with card reader: As above, but with built-in card reader for e.g. BOXER CA module for receiving digital TV from Boxer TV - Only without certification, but works as intended nonetheless.
