A USB blocker makes it harder for hackers and other unwanted visitors to invade your computer with malicious software via the physical USB port. At the same time, it avoids information being stolen via the USB port and that unwanted software is installed on your computer.

Unfortunately, there are alternative examples where the computer's USB ports have been permanently closed/destroyed with glue, preventing people from using them and ultimately impairing the computer's value. Contrary to this approach, a USB port blocker is a safe and easy way to close the USB port, as the USB port can be easily opened again with the included key.

A USB Blocker is perfect for libraries and public places where many people use the same computer. Shops, cafes, office environments and other places where the computer's USB ports can be left accessible to strangers are other obvious places of use.
