A floor-standing speaker reproduces the full frequency range of the sound and is, therefore, the type of speaker that provides the best and most homogeneous sound reproduction. This type of speaker stands, as its name suggests, directly on the floor, usually either on rubber feet or spikes to lower the resonance.
The sound quality itself is, of course, very much dependent on everything from cabinet design, choice of speaker units and components, attenuation, and not least the quality of the whole. An important detail, however, is how skilled the construction of the speaker has been to make everything play together - it is most often the most challenging part and has a significant impact on how the final sound quality and experience will be.
The floor speaker is a natural choice, after the rack speaker to the large room where space is not a problem, or simply if you want the most exceptional sound.
