American Polk Audio has been making speakers since 1972, their goal is not only to find the perfect sound, but also to last and be ahead of their time. The speakers were developed to be able to reproduce the fine detailed sound, which at that time was typically only known from English speaker brands, combined with a serious bass reproduction, which was most often primarily characteristic of American speakers. They succeed with the legendary monitor series, which became the all-time bestseller from the early years of Polk's history.

With speakers from Polk Audio, you easy access to the world of Hi-Fi, even on a low budget and without sound compromising. Especially with the affordable Monitor XT series, Polk Audio has managed to produce a speaker series who anyone can afford and are the perfect beginner speakers. In addition to the low price, the Monitor series actually has really good sound and is made to last - as the original Monitor series back in the days.
