The story of Sonus faber starts all the way back in 1983 when Franco Serblin founded the company which to this day is one of the most recognized high-end speaker manufacturers in the world. Common to all the products from Sonus Faber is that they are manufactured at their factory in Italy, where a large part of them are hand-assembled by experienced engineers and dedicated employees with many years of experience.
With speakers from Sonus faber, you can expect high quality, whatever you choose one of their cheaper models. Or one of the very expensive models that only caters to the most discerning listeners. Like many other products from Italy, the speakers from Sonus faber offer an exciting and different design, compared to many other manufacturers. Here, exotic materials and unique designs are used on the cabinets, which makes the speakers a significant part of the decor, and not just a source of the sound.
In 2012, Sonus faber became part of the Fine Sound Group, where we also find manufacturers such as McIntosh and SUMIKO. Fine Sound Group is today one of the largest collections of high-end manufacturers in the world. When Sonus faber became part of the Fine Sound Group, this also meant expansion to other product groups, such as high-end headphones, all-in-one systems, and solutions for cars. All three are in high quality and with the same design DNA as we know, and is expected of a product from Sonus faber.
