It works as a supplement to the speaker’s own tweeter and extends the frequency response far into the ultra high frequency range. The result is a more open, airy and realistic presentation where the finest musical details and harmonics become clearer.At the center of the design is a 25 mm magnesium dome. Magnesium is both lightweight and extremely rigid, making it ideal for accurate reproduction of the highest frequencies. This construction allows the frequency response to extend all the way up to 50 kHz. Even though these frequencies are beyond the human hearing range, they significantly influence how we perceive space, air and harmonic structure in music. The soundstage becomes more three dimensional, instruments gain a more natural tonal character and the entire presentation feels more lifelike. 360° dispersion creates a larger and more natural acoustic space:One of the most distinctive characteristics of S-TRAX is its omnidirectional 360° dispersion. Instead of projecting the treble directly forward toward the listener, the high frequencies are distributed evenly throughout the room. This ensures that both the direct sound and the reflected sound from walls and ceilings maintain the same harmonic structure. The result is a wider, deeper and more holographic soundstage where music fills the room in a natural and immersive way.The top of the unit features a convenient adjustment for high frequency energy of ±4.5 dB. This allows the treble level to be tailored to different speakers, room acoustics and personal listening preferences. In addition, an integrated ground terminal helps reduce radio frequency noise in the signal path. This leads to a cleaner signal and allows even the smallest details in the recording to come through clearly. Easy integration with many types of speakers:S-TRAX is designed to perform optimally with point source loudspeakers, but it can also be used successfully with a wide range of other speaker designs. When placed correctly on top of the speaker cabinet, the super tweeter adds extra air, precision and detail to both modern and older loudspeakers.Placement plays an important role in achieving the best results. With point source speakers, a slightly recessed position is recommended so the super tweeter aligns acoustically with the main driver. With traditional speaker systems, it can be positioned closer to the front of the cabinet. Its compact size and discreet design make it easy to integrate without changing the appearance of the speaker. The result is a simple upgrade that can deliver a noticeable improvement in sound quality.
