Sony VPL-XW5000ES – 4K Laser Projector with HDRThe next generation of home movie projectors from Sony is ready to fight, in the form of several new models, now updated with the latest features and functions.The XW5000ES is a true 4K projector that offers HDR support, and a laser light source that provides both long life, while providing unique color reproduction and image quality that cannot be compared to traditional halogen projectors. Both new models offer a completely new and advanced panel, developed from the ground up by Sony. This panel is called their 4K SXRD panel, and as the name suggests, we are dealing with a panel that supports true 4K reproduction, no upscaling or magic here, all 8.3 million pixels are reproduced on the screen. This gives the 4K resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels as we know it, combined with precise image processing of their most advanced processor for projectors ever, the X1 Ultimate. In addition, both new models also come with new advanced optics, which allows all the light from the laser light sources to reach the screen. The optics are manually adjusted on the XW5000ES, l, with both lens-shift and up/down adjustment. The XW5000ES offers an impressive laser light source that gives you 2000 lumens, which gives you a very convincing HDR experience! Advanced HDR enhancer, HDR Remaster technology and support for the DCI-P3 color profile are also features that we find in both models, to give you the absolute best and most impressive movie experience at home in the living room, or home theater. Regardless of what content you send to the screen, the XW5000ES will undoubtedly be able to deliver the goods, and give you a picture of the highest quality.
