Sony VPL-XW5000ES – 4K Laser Projector with HDRThe next generation of Sony home cinema projectors is here, bringing new models packed with the latest features and innovations. The XW5000ES and XW7000ES are true 4K projectors with HDR support and laser light sources that ensure long lifespan, stunning color reproduction, and image quality far beyond traditional halogen-based projectors. Both models feature an all-new advanced panel, developed entirely by Sony, known as the 4K SXRD panel. As the name suggests, this panel delivers native 4K with no upscaling – every one of the 8.3 million pixels is reproduced on screen. This translates to a sharp 3,840 x 2,160 resolution, combined with precise image processing powered by Sony’s most advanced projector processor to date, the X1 Ultimate. In addition, both models include newly designed optics, ensuring that maximum light from the laser source reaches the screen. On the XW5000ES, adjustments are made manually, while the larger XW7000ES offers motorized lens-shift and zoom via remote control. The XW5000ES provides a powerful 2000 lumens laser light source, while the XW7000ES takes brightness to an incredible 3200 lumens for a breathtaking HDR experience. Advanced HDR Enhancer, HDR Remaster technology, and support for the wide DCI-P3 color gamut are also integrated into both models, delivering the ultimate cinematic experience at home.
