The USB Type-A output features its own dedicated power supply section to ensure a clean digital signal to your DAC. High-resolution audio playback is supported up to PCM 768 kHz / 32 bit and DSD 22.5 MHz, making it ideal for both modern hi-res libraries and demanding audiophile collections. Two USB ports also allow direct playback from USB flash drives, HDDs and SSDs, enabling the unit to work as a simple music server solution.

TEAC was founded in Japan in 1953 under the name Tokyo Television Acoustic Company. In 1956, an engineer named Katsuma Tani and his brother had the idea to develop an improved reel-to-reel tape recorder based on their experiences with similar products.
