Rega Replay is a thoughtfully designed belt-drive turntable that makes it easy to get started with vinyl without complicated adjustments. Developed with an emphasis on precision engineering, stable playback and straightforward operation, it lets you quickly put on your favourite record and enjoy the music. Hand-built in the UK, the turntable draws on Rega's extensive experience in developing analogue hi-fi components.

Replay comes with a pre-fitted Rega Carbon MM cartridge and an RB110 tonearm, with the essential adjustments already completed at the factory. This eliminates the need to align the cartridge or adjust anti-skating during initial setup. Simply fit the tonearm counterweight, connect the turntable to a suitable phono input or external phono preamplifier, and remove the stylus guard.

Its uncomplicated design makes Replay an excellent choice for anyone taking their first steps into serious vinyl playback, as well as music enthusiasts looking for a straightforward turntable focused on the listening experience.

Precision tonearm and carefully matched cartridge:

Rega Replay features the hand-assembled RB110 tonearm, fitted with specially developed ultra-low-friction bearings. These allow the tonearm to move freely and track the record groove accurately. The integrated anti-skating mechanism is factory-set, so no manual adjustment is required during normal setup.

The included Rega Carbon cartridge is a Moving Magnet (MM) model, already mounted and correctly aligned in the tonearm. Together, the tonearm and cartridge are designed to deliver detailed, dynamic music reproduction while keeping operation simple.

The stylus can be replaced when worn without necessarily replacing the entire cartridge. It is also possible to upgrade to Rega's compatible Carbon Pro stylus. This provides a convenient way to maintain and improve playback performance without replacing the turntable itself.

Stable rotation with a low-noise motor and advanced drive belt:

Consistent rotational speed is essential for accurate vinyl playback. Rega Replay therefore uses a specially developed 24V synchronous motor designed for low noise and minimal vibration. The motor is integrated into a complete assembly incorporating electronic control, a CNC-machined pulley and power connection.

The motor transfers rotation to the platter through Rega's EBLT Advanced drive belt. This belt-drive arrangement helps maintain smooth rotation while reducing the transmission of motor vibrations to the platter.

The platter itself is manufactured from 23 mm thick phenolic resin and has sufficient mass to provide a flywheel effect. This helps stabilise rotational speed during playback. A specially developed white platter mat provides a suitable contact surface for the record.

Replay supports both 33 1/3 and 45 RPM, allowing playback of standard LPs and records designed for 45 RPM. Speed selection is performed manually by moving the drive belt between the motor pulley's grooves.

Lightweight, rigid construction with effective vibration control:

Rather than using a conventional solid turntable plinth, Rega has equipped Replay with an open skeletal design. The construction features a rigid laminated plinth with a black MDF core. Combining low mass with high rigidity helps minimise unwanted resonance and provides a stable foundation for the tonearm, motor and platter.

The main bearing features a precision-engineered brass assembly designed to reduce mechanical stress and limit the transfer of unwanted energy. Specially designed feet further help stabilise the turntable and reduce vibrations from the supporting surface.

Replay includes a removable dust cover to protect the turntable when not in use. Its compact construction and low weight of just 2.2 kg also make it easy to accommodate within a hi-fi system.

Audio is connected through an RCA phono cable with an integrated ground connection via the left channel. As Replay uses an MM cartridge, it must be connected to an amplifier with an MM phono input or a separate phono preamplifier. Once connected, it is ready to deliver the distinctive listening experience of analogue vinyl playback.
