Step into Pro-Ject's RPM series:

Pro-Ject RPM 1 Carbon is a manual turntable with a carefully considered design, featuring a motor, bearing and tonearm developed for stable playback and reduced unwanted vibrations. The low-resonance chassis houses an inverted platter bearing with a ceramic ball that helps reduce mechanical rumble. The platter is made from MDF and comes with a felt mat.

The separate synchronous motor drives the platter via a belt and is powered by a precision AC generator with a DC power supply. This contributes to a stable rotational speed when playing your records. RPM 1 Carbon supports both 33 and 45 rpm, with manual speed change. The turntable is available in high-gloss black, red or white and comes with or without an Ortofon 2M Red cartridge, allowing you to choose the version that suits your setup.

Advanced tonearm with effective resonance damping:

The 8.6" S-shaped tonearm is made from carbon fibre, aluminium and resin. The materials undergo a three-stage process involving heat treatment and pressure of 100 bar. This increases the rigidity and internal damping of the arm tube while reducing resonances. The construction also makes the tonearm suitable for MC cartridges.

Magnetic anti-skating and a TPE-damped counterweight complete the tonearm's mechanical design. A Pro-Ject Connect it E phono cable is included, featuring effective shielding, a semi-symmetrical construction and low capacitance. The box also contains a felt mat, an adapter for 7" singles, a power supply, an Allen key and a stylus pressure gauge. These accessories support both record playback and tracking force adjustment, while your choice of version determines whether the Ortofon 2M Red cartridge is included.
