The unit combines galvanic isolation, Active Noise Cancellation and IsoGround in one compact solution that addresses the signal path, power supply and grounding.The galvanic isolation electrically separates the input and output circuitry. USB data can pass through the unit while unwanted currents between the source and connected equipment are isolated. This is particularly relevant in USB audio systems where computers, power supplies and other connected equipment can carry electrical noise through the USB connection. The purpose is to prevent this noise from travelling through the connection to equipment such as a USB DAC. Active filtering of USB power:A USB connection carries not only data but can also supply power to connected equipment. The USB iPurifier Pro uses Active Noise Cancellation to reduce high-frequency EMI and RFI noise in the power supply. The technology generates a signal with an inverted phase relative to the detected noise, actively counteracting unwanted electrical noise.A separate USB-C power input also allows an external 5V power supply rated at up to 3A to be used. When external power is connected, power from the USB source can be bypassed while the source USB connection is used for data. This separates data transmission from the power supply and allows the external power supply to provide power to the USB outputs. IsoGround and flexible USB connections:Ground loops can occur when multiple components in an audio system have separate ground connections. The USB iPurifier Pro uses IsoGround technology to manage excess ground connections between the isolation circuits, helping to reduce interference caused by ground loops.The unit also features a 4 mm grounding connection that can be used to establish a supplementary ground connection for equipment on the output side that does not have one. It is compatible with the SilentPower Groundhog+. Both USB-C and USB-B 3.0 are available for connection to the source. USB-C takes priority if both inputs are connected simultaneously. On the output side, there are two USB-A 3.0 ports with different functions: one carries both data and power and can, for example, be connected to a USB DAC, while the other supplies filtered USB power only. 10 Gbps without limiting the USB connection:The noise reduction technology is combined with support for data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps. The USB iPurifier Pro can therefore be used in USB 3.0-based connections where high data speeds are required while providing galvanic isolation for the USB signal.The compact enclosure measures 4.28 x 2.32 x 9.6 cm, allowing the unit to be integrated directly between the source and USB equipment without taking up much space. A 0.5 metre USB-C to USB-C cable and a 0.5 metre USB 3.0 cable are included, providing connectivity for different USB installations.
