Specifications:
• USB connection • Fully automatic turntable with two speeds: 33 & 45 RPM • Aluminum platter • Built-in RIAA amplifier • Aluminum finish This fully automatic belt-driven turntable AT-LP60XUSB allows you to experience the hi-fi sound of your vinyl directly or convert it to digital audio. The AT-LP60XUSB plays both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and is equipped with a USB output that allows direct connection to your computer. Simply download the free Mac and PC compatible Audacity recording software (or the software of your choice) and start converting your records to digital audio files. In addition to the USB output, the turntable also features a detachable RCA output cable (3.5mm male to dual RCA male) and a built-in, switchable phono preamp, so you can connect it directly to your home stereo, powered speakers, computer and other components, whether or not they have a dedicated phono input. This updated version of the AT-LP60-USB features a newly designed tonearm base and headshell to improve tracking and reduce resonance. Noise is further reduced by including an AC adapter that moves the AC/DC conversion outside the chassis, where its impact on the signal chain is limited. Audio-Technica has been a leader in phono cartridge design for over 50 years, and that expertise is reflected in the AT-LP60XUSB's Dual Magnet™ cartridge with replaceable stylus. The cartridge is integrated into the headshell for reliable performance and easy setup. The turntable comes with a 45 RPM adapter and a removable hinged dust cover. Founded in 1962 by Hideo Matsushita, Audio-Technica positioned itself immediately as a leader in the manufacture and design of innovative audio products - Its expertise in innovation quickly spread to various new fields and led to the development of tone arms, microphones and headphones. Audio-Technica soon became a benchmark in those fields. Making history.
A self-made man and audiophile, Hidéo Matsushita was the former Director of the Tokyo Museum of Modern Art. It all started in his workshop, with the hand crafting of stereo cartridges. 50 years later, Audio-Technica has become a global leader in audio innovation.
