Add Bluetooth to your TV and stereo system:

The Hama Bluetooth Audio Transmitter/Receiver 00205322 makes it possible to add wireless Bluetooth audio to TVs, Hi-Fi systems and projectors without built-in Bluetooth functionality. The adapter works as both a Bluetooth transmitter and receiver, allowing it to send audio from a conventional audio source to Bluetooth headphones or a Bluetooth speaker, as well as receive wireless audio from a mobile phone and play it through a stereo system.

For wired audio connections, the adapter can use either a 3.5 mm jack or optical audio. This makes it suitable for use with different types of existing AV equipment without having to replace the TV, projector or stereo system itself.

Two Bluetooth devices and automatic pairing:

The adapter supports connection with two Bluetooth devices. In transmitter mode, for example, two pairs of Bluetooth headphones can be connected to the same audio source, allowing two people to listen to TV audio through their own headphones. This also enables individual volume adjustment on the connected headphones when the headphones themselves support this function.

In receiver mode, two audio sources, such as two mobile phones, can be connected to a stereo system. This makes it possible to switch between compatible Bluetooth sources without constantly having to establish the connection again. Automatic pairing also means that after the initial pairing, devices can automatically re-establish the Bluetooth connection when Bluetooth is activated. The wireless range is up to 10 metres with a clear line of sight.

Bluetooth 5.2, aptX and convenient USB power:

The Bluetooth adapter uses Bluetooth 5.2 and supports aptX audio decoding. aptX is designed to provide improved audio quality within the limited bandwidth available for Bluetooth transmission.

Power is supplied via USB, and a 0.8 metre USB-A to USB-C power cable is included. The adapter can therefore be powered from a suitable USB port on a TV, for example. Alternatively, it can be connected to a separate USB-A power adapter, which is not included. The package also includes audio cables for several common connections: 3.5 mm jack to RCA, 3.5 mm jack to 3.5 mm jack and an optical cable.
