Each pod connects directly to the corresponding IEM via an interchangeable ear loop. MMCX and 0.78 mm 2-pin connections are included, while A2DC, T2 and Pentaconn connections are available separately.Bluetooth 5.4 and the Qualcomm QCC5181 provide the foundation for the wireless connection. With a compatible source device, the GO pod Max supports aptX Lossless, allowing CD-quality audio to be transmitted via Bluetooth without data loss. It also supports aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX, LDAC, LHDC/HWA, AAC and SBC, making the adapter compatible with a wide range of Bluetooth devices and audio formats. Hi-Fi circuitry with automatic impedance matching:The GO pod Max is designed with separate, individually optimised circuit stages for Bluetooth, DAC and amplification. Automatic impedance matching detects the connected IEM earphones and selects between 16, 32, 64 and 300 Ohm. This allows the output to be adapted to IEM models with very different electrical characteristics.Output power is at least 120 mW/1.96 V at 32 Ohm and at least 53 mW/4 V at 300 Ohm. THD+N is specified at 0.002% from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The combination of dedicated audio circuitry and automatic impedance matching means the GO pod Max functions as more than a conventional Bluetooth adapter. The DAC and amplification are integrated directly into the two pods, allowing the IEM earphones to be driven without a separate external DAC/headphone amplifier. K2HD and controls directly from your ear:The GO pod Max integrates JVCKENWOOD K2HD technology. The processing interpolates information lost during digital conversion, with a focus on restoring natural harmonic components. In the GO pod Max, K2HD operates with digital processing up to 96 kHz.Touch controls on each pod provide access to music control, volume, calls and compatible voice assistants such as Siri and Gemini. For phone calls, two microphones work together with Qualcomm cVc noise suppression to help focus on your voice. The pods are also IPX5-rated for water resistance, providing additional protection against conditions such as sweat and rain. Charging case with UV sterilisation:The included charging case features a construction of aluminium and textured polymer and contains four UV lights that sterilise the connected IEM earphones between uses. The case has a 1500 mAh battery, while the pods have 180 mAh batteries. This provides up to 7 hours of use on a single charge and up to 35 hours of total battery life with the charging case.Charging is available via USB-C or a Qi-certified charger. The pods charge in under 1.5 hours, while the charging case takes under 2 hours. The case also features additional internal space to accommodate larger IEM earphones.
