Its purpose is to reduce electrical noise and jitter, allowing the HDMI signal to pass through with less interference and more precise timing.According to the manufacturer's measurements, Active Noise Cancellation II reduces unwanted system noise by more than 40 dB, equivalent to a 100-fold reduction compared with conventional noise filters. Jitter Elimination simultaneously addresses signal timing. It is designed to preserve picture detail, contrast and deep black levels while reducing audio distortion. HDMI 2.1 with 8K and high frame rate 4K:The signal processing is designed without removing support for modern HDMI formats. HDMI iSilencer 2 uses HDMI 2.1 and supports 8K Ultra HD at 60 Hz as well as 4K at 120 Hz. HDR content is supported up to 8K at 60 Hz. The HDMI 2.1 interface is also backwards compatible, allowing the device to be used in HDMI systems based on earlier standards.This makes it suitable for AV installations where high resolution and high frame rates need to pass through the signal conditioner. The device features an HDMI female input and HDMI male output, allowing it to connect directly to the HDMI input of compatible AV equipment or via the included 15 cm HDMI male-to-female extension cable. Compact design and integrated protection:The second generation is 20% more compact than its predecessor. The housing measures just 3.0 x 2.0 x 0.93 cm, while the tapered sides are designed to simplify installation where multiple HDMI ports are positioned close together. The smaller design also reduces strain on the connected cable.HDMI iSilencer 2 also incorporates Transient Voltage Suppression, which protects connected equipment against voltage spikes, surges and electrostatic discharge.
