Highlights:• Ethernet filter with optical galvanic isolation• Electrical isolation between LAN input and LAN output • Active signal regeneration reduces jitter and improves signal timing • Supports Ethernet speeds of 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps • Suitable for network-based audio and video equipment • Simple installation between a router or network switch and the connected device • USB-C power supply with 5 V DC/1 A Optical isolation for network-based AV equipment:The SilentPower LAN iPurifier Pro is an active Ethernet filter designed to reduce electrical noise and interference from the network connection before it reaches sensitive audio and video equipment. The device uses optical galvanic isolation, converting the incoming LAN signal into an optical signal and then back into an electrical data signal. This creates electrical isolation between the input and output, preventing noise from sources such as the router or network switch from having a direct electrical path to the connected equipment. The LAN iPurifier Pro can be placed before a network streamer, DAC with an Ethernet connection, 4K media player or streaming PC. It supports 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps Ethernet, allowing the filtering function to be used in standard Gigabit Ethernet installations. Signal regeneration focused on reducing jitter:After optical isolation, the Ethernet signal is regenerated by active electronics. The digital data stream is reconstructed to reduce jitter and maintain more precise timing through the connection. The combination of isolation and signal regeneration distinguishes the LAN iPurifier Pro from a purely passive Ethernet filter.Network equipment and cable connections can carry electrical noise and electromagnetic interference through an AV system. In network-based audio systems, this noise can affect downstream circuitry and increase jitter during conversion. The LAN iPurifier Pro is designed to break this electrical connection and regenerate the data signal before it is passed on to the player. The network data itself is preserved, while the electrical isolation limits the transfer of unwanted noise between network devices. Simple installation in the Ethernet connection:Installation requires no complicated network setup. The LAN iPurifier Pro connects between the router or network switch and the device to be isolated. The manufacturer recommends positioning the filter as close as possible to the receiving network device. The Ethernet connection enters through the RJ45 input and continues through the optically isolated RJ45 output.Power is supplied via USB-C at 5 V DC/1 A. A 5 V USB power supply, a 1.2 metre USB-A to USB-C cable and a 0.5 metre Ethernet cable are included, allowing the unit to be integrated directly into the network connection. The compact enclosure measures 2.42 x 9.28 x 9.9 cm and has a net weight of 241 g.
