For the second phone jack your device has a main jack, the GO link delivers a major sonic upgrade. This is because its sophisticated DAC (Digital-to-Analogue Converter) and headphone amplifier circuitry are superior to the audio technology in smart devices and computers.
At the heart of the GO connection is a power-efficient, high-performance DAC chip from ESS Technology's Saber HiFi series – the ES9219MQ/Q – that benefits from 32-bit HyperStream III architecture.
This is combined with Quad DAC+ and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator technologies, plus their dedicated clock circuit using a specialized crystal oscillator, to deliver ultra-low distortion, excellent clarity and impressive dynamic range.
GO Link's headphone amplifier provides a gold-plated 3.5mm jack that incorporates their S-Balanced configuration to reduce wear and crosstalk.
It delivers an output power of 70mW into 32 ohms and a maximum output voltage of 2.05V into 600 ohms. This gives it plenty of oomph to drive the kinds of headphones and in-ears likely to be used with the GO Link, easily outclassing the headphone outputs built into smart devices and computers.
