The unit is connected between the power supply and the device, where it uses iFi's Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology to actively suppress unwanted noise on the DC power line. According to the manufacturer, noise can be reduced by up to 100,000 times depending on the type of interference, helping to lower the overall noise floor and provide improved operating conditions for connected equipment.Its ultra-wideband design is effective from 1 Hz to over 5 GHz, enabling it to attenuate both low and high frequency noise. The enclosure is made from RFI-shielded aluminium, while the internal components include Panasonic SP-Cap polymer capacitors, precision MELF resistors and custom low-noise operational amplifiers. These components have been selected to provide efficient noise suppression together with stable electrical performance.
