A physical switch lets you alternate between TX and RX modes, allowing the same device to handle different connection requirements on planes, in cars and with other audio sources featuring a 3.5 mm connection.In TX mode, the UP Travel receives audio via 3.5 mm AUX or USB-C and transmits the signal via Bluetooth 5.2. This makes it suitable for in-flight entertainment systems and other wired audio sources when you want to use Bluetooth headphones or wireless earbuds. Two pairs of Bluetooth headphones can be connected simultaneously, allowing two listeners to share the same audio. Bluetooth receiver for your car audio system:In RX mode, the UP Travel works in the opposite direction. It receives audio via Bluetooth 5.2 and passes the signal to its analogue 3.5 mm AUX output. This allows an existing audio system with an AUX input to gain wireless Bluetooth streaming without replacing the system itself. It is particularly useful in cars equipped with a 3.5 mm AUX input but without the desired Bluetooth audio functionality.Codec support includes LDAC, LHDC/HWA, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX, AAC and SBC. The UP Travel automatically prioritises the most suitable supported Bluetooth connection between the connected devices, while the current setting can also be checked or changed using the device controls.
