Nine songs from a long musical career:

For Analog Retrospective, Hans Theessink selected nine tracks from his archive of analog master tapes. His deep baritone and natural, direct sound take center stage, while the songs reflect the breadth of his music. Longtime collaborator Terry Evans contributes vocals to seven tracks. Ry Cooder plays guitar on two, and Jon Sass adds tuba to the varied musical mix.

From master tape to vinyl:

Mastering engineer Christoph Stickel reworked the recordings entirely in analog using his Pure Analog Remastering approach. The record was cut using Direct Metal Mastering from the new analog master tape and pressed on 180 g vinyl. The edition is limited to 1,500 individually numbered copies.
