Audiovector’s Accelerated Force Concept replaces traditional heavy surrounds with a lightweight concertina suspension, allowing the drivers to respond instantly from the very first signal. Combined with the Low Compression Concept, air pressure behind the diaphragm is reduced, lowering distortion and improving dynamic freedom. The open rear construction supports the Soundstage Enhancement Concept, where controlled rear radiation adds depth, width and stability to the overall sound image.Refined construction for serious systems:The R 5 Arreté features Audiovector’s proprietary Arreté crossover technology, using double cryogenically treated capacitors, Dynamic Feed Forward copper coils and precision film resistors to preserve resolution, timing and tonal accuracy. The second-generation Freedom Grounding system removes unwanted currents from the driver chassis, lowering the noise floor and revealing fine details with greater clarity. A three-position damping adjustment allows precise matching with different amplifier types, including transistor, high-power transistor and tube amplifiers.
