The compact 2-way design makes the 3010C easy to integrate into smaller rooms where larger speakers may be impractical. C3 Continuous Curved Cone delivers greater sound control:

One of the key technologies in the Q Acoustics 3010C is its specially developed 101 mm C3 Continuous Curved Cone mid/bass driver. Its distinctive cone profile combines the advantages of a traditional conical diaphragm with the improved midrange control of a more flared design.

The continuously curved diaphragm is engineered to provide an even frequency response, excellent sound dispersion and a natural transition between the mid/bass driver and tweeter. This contributes to precise, coherent sound reproduction, allowing instruments and vocals to come through with impressive clarity.

The driver also features a powerful magnet system that ensures excellent control over the movement of the diaphragm. This improves dynamics and helps the speaker reproduce bass rhythms with precision and impact. Harmonic distortion is also reduced, allowing even complex musical passages to retain their definition.

Mechanically decoupled tweeter and reinforced cabinet:

Q Acoustics 3010C features a 22 mm tweeter based on design principles from the manufacturer's premium Concept series. The tweeter is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated from the speaker's front baffle, preventing vibrations and pressure variations from the mid/bass driver from interfering with its performance.

This construction allows the tweeter to reproduce high frequencies with greater clarity and lower distortion. It is also designed to work closely with the C3 driver, ensuring a natural transition between the midrange and treble frequencies.

The cabinet is further reinforced with Q Acoustics' P2P (Point to Point) bracing technology. Internal braces are strategically positioned in areas where the cabinet requires additional rigidity. This reduces unwanted vibrations and resonances that could otherwise colour the sound.

The improved cabinet stability contributes to more precise stereo imaging, giving instruments and vocals a clearer position within the soundstage. Together with the rear-firing bass reflex port, this creates a carefully engineered speaker focused on detail, dynamics and control.
