The Elipson Classic Sub 8 adds a solid bass foundation to your system and is particularly well suited to smaller rooms where space is limited. As the smallest model in the Classic Sub series, its discreet enclosure makes it easy to find room for an active subwoofer in your home. The front-firing 8" driver features a fiberglass composite cone whose low weight and high rigidity support fast, controlled reproduction.

A built-in 150 W Class D amplifier powers the driver, while DSP processing with a +6.3 dB boost at 33 Hz reinforces low-frequency reproduction. This adds weight to bass rhythms in music and greater impact to movie effects. The bass reflex design and frequency response of 37 to 200 Hz make the Classic Sub 8 a natural addition when your speakers need support in the lower frequencies.

Match the bass to your speakers:

A satisfying bass experience depends on the subwoofer working well with the rest of your system. The Classic Sub 8 therefore features an adjustable crossover from 40 to 200 Hz, allowing you to fine-tune the transition between the subwoofer and your main speakers. This makes it suitable for both compact bookshelf speakers and floorstanding speakers, which may require different levels of bass support. The phase switch, with settings of 0° and 180°, provides another way to optimise integration at your chosen position.

Connection is via L/R line-level inputs, and the subwoofer also provides line-level outputs. Automatic standby makes everyday use convenient. With a width of 25.6 cm and a black finish, the enclosure fits easily into your living room, while the grille gives it a restrained, discreet appearance.
