Powerful sound in a portable format:

Panasonic SC-BMAX5E-K is a portable party speaker that combines battery operation with a 2-channel digital stereo amplifier system. When connected to AC power, the system delivers up to 75 W RMS through a 14 cm woofer and two 5.7 cm tweeters. On battery power, the total RMS output is 25 W. The bass reflex port supports low-frequency reproduction, while the dedicated tweeters handle the upper frequency range.

The built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery provides up to 9 hours of playback under the specified operating conditions, and a full charge takes approximately 3 hours. The integrated carrying handle makes the speaker easier to transport, and with a weight of 6.5 kg, the SC-BMAX5 can be used as a flexible music system in locations where a mains socket is not always close at hand.

Bluetooth, USB and digital audio sources:

Music can be played wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0 with support for A2DP, AVRCP and the SBC codec. The speaker also supports Bluetooth Multipoint, allowing up to two Bluetooth devices to be connected simultaneously. For wired audio sources, there is a 3.5 mm AUX input as well as an optical digital input supporting 2-channel PCM audio with a sampling frequency of up to 96 kHz and 24-bit resolution.

The USB-A port can be used both for MP3 playback from compatible USB storage devices and for charging at up to 1 A. Support for FAT16, FAT32 and exFAT provides flexibility when choosing USB media. A separate 3.5 mm audio output also makes it possible to send the audio signal to other compatible audio equipment.

Ready for microphone, guitar and light show:

SC-BMAX5E-K features separate 6.3 mm mono inputs for microphone and guitar, allowing both to be connected directly to the speaker. The levels can be adjusted individually, and the microphone function includes an adjustable echo effect. This makes it possible to combine music playback with vocals or guitar without requiring a separate mixer for basic level adjustments.

The integrated lighting system offers 7 different colours and 12 lighting patterns that can create a visual effect alongside the music. The sound can also be adjusted using bass control and five preset EQ profiles: Rock, Jazz, Samba, Pop and Flat. The combination of battery operation, physical audio inputs, Bluetooth and integrated lighting makes the speaker suitable as an all-in-one solution for both everyday music playback and more active music setups.
