MONACOR PA-924 is a versatile mono PA mixing amplifier with 240 W output power, designed for installations where multiple audio sources need to be combined and distributed to a speaker system. The amplifier supports both conventional 4 Ohm speakers and 70/100 V speaker systems, providing flexible options for adapting the installation to different requirements. It is suitable for shops, schools, commercial premises and other installations where music and speech need to be reproduced through a shared sound system.

With four balanced microphone inputs and four stereo line inputs, there is plenty of room for connecting different audio sources. These could include microphones for announcements and presentations, as well as music players or other devices with analogue audio outputs. The amplifier features individual input level controls and a separate output level control, making it easy to adjust the volume of each audio source.

Flexible audio control with priority function and built-in chime:

MONACOR PA-924 allows selected microphone and line inputs to be prioritised, ensuring that important announcements can take precedence over other audio sources. This is particularly useful in sound installations where background music and public address systems are used together. The built-in chime function can also play either a two-tone or four-tone signal, which can be activated via an external switch.

The microphone inputs support switchable 48 V phantom power, allowing compatible condenser microphones to be connected without a separate phantom power supply. The amplifier also features bass and treble controls on the output, enabling the sound to be adjusted to suit the room acoustics and desired audio reproduction.

A balanced line output makes it possible to route the audio signal to other compatible audio equipment. There is also a separate recording output and an insert facility, allowing external devices such as equalisers, effects processors or feedback controllers to be integrated into the signal path.

Reliable construction with emergency power option:

The amplifier is designed for fixed installations and features a temperature-controlled fan that adjusts cooling according to operating conditions. It can operate from a standard 230 V mains supply but also supports operation from an external 24 V DC power supply. This allows it to be integrated into installations with a separate emergency power supply where amplifier operation must be maintained in the event of a mains power failure.

MONACOR PA-924 features a cabinet measuring 48.2 cm wide and 9.5 cm high. The included mounting brackets allow the amplifier to be installed in a standard 19" rack, where it occupies 2 rack units. The brackets can also be removed, providing greater flexibility for installation outside a rack. Speakers are connected via screw terminals, providing a practical connection method for fixed installations.
