More weight to your music and impact to your movies:

Elipson Classic Sub 10 gives your sound system a solid foundation with deep bass and a physical presence. Designed for both Hi-Fi and home cinema, this active subwoofer is well suited to medium-sized listening rooms, where it can complement compact speakers as well as floorstanding models. A 10" bass driver with a fibreglass composite cone is powered by a built-in 200 W Class D amplifier, while the bass-reflex design supports low-frequency reproduction.

With bass extending down to 29 Hz, movie effects gain more weight and music gains a fuller foundation. The built-in DSP provides a +6.3 dB bass boost at 33 Hz, supporting deep bass fullness even at lower listening levels. Internal cabinet bracing also limits unwanted vibrations, helping to deliver more controlled sound reproduction.

Match the bass to your speakers:

A satisfying bass experience depends on the subwoofer working well with the rest of your system. On the Classic Sub 10, the crossover frequency can be adjusted from 40 to 160 Hz, allowing you to tailor the transition between the subwoofer and your main speakers. The phase switch, with settings of 0° and 180°, offers an additional way to optimise their interaction at your chosen placement.

Connection is via L/R line inputs and outputs for low-level audio signals. A subsonic filter at 22 Hz attenuates the very lowest frequencies, while automatic standby simplifies everyday use. The black finish gives the subwoofer an understated appearance, and at 30.6 cm wide, the cabinet is relatively narrow. Dimensions including the grille and feet make it easy to assess the space required before positioning it.
