Synchronization cable for Beolab 5 speakers for use with non-B&O devices and digital S/PDIF setups.

This special cable ensures that the volume on your Beolab 5 speakers is perfectly matched between devices and that the speakers always play at the same volume, providing balanced and accurate sound reproduction. The cable is particularly important when the speakers are connected to equipment not made by Bang & Olufsen or when using digital S/PDIF connections.

To function correctly, the synchronization feature must be enabled on the speakers. This feature is available on Beolab 5 models with serial number 17,772,145 and above, and with software version 2.5 or newer (from around April 2004). If you have an older model, the speakers can instead be set to near maximum volume, and you can adjust the sound level via the connected audio source.
