At its core is the new Rinaro MZ5 HO Isodynamic Hybrid Array driver with an impedance of 225 Ohm. The high-impedance design makes the driver well suited to powerful desktop amplifiers, where it operates with high voltage and low current. This construction contributes to high electrical linearity, very low distortion and stable performance, even at high listening levels.The driver uses a diaphragm with an active area of 4,650 mm² and a weight of just 0.10 g. The hybrid magnet structure distributes the magnetic force evenly across the diaphragm, supporting precise transient reproduction and consistent response throughout the frequency range from 3 Hz to 115 kHz. Expansive soundstage and flexible tuning:The open-back construction features angled acoustic blades that protect the driver while reducing internal reflections behind the diaphragm. The result is an open and spacious presentation in which instruments and voices are positioned clearly within the soundstage.ARTA is supplied with two sets of ear pads, allowing the sound character to be adjusted. Duo Angled combines perforated lambskin leather and Alcantara and is angled to provide a fuller, more impactful presentation. Slim Alcantara uses two types of Alcantara with perforations on the inner chamber, providing a more neutral balance and a smoother reproduction of the upper frequencies. Materials and construction designed for long service life:The headphones combine precision-machined metals, carbon fibre and leather in a construction where all essential components can be removed and replaced. The ear pads, headband, drivers and ear cups are designed with serviceability and long-term use in mind.ARTA is manufactured and assembled at Meze's headquarters in Baia Mare, Romania. Two 2-metre cables with silver-plated LC-OFC conductors are included. One is terminated with a 6.3 mm jack for single-ended connections, while the other features a 4-pin XLR connector for balanced headphone amplifiers.
