Hi-fi engineering in a pair of wireless in-ear headphones:

Cambridge Audio Melomania A100 SE brings the manufacturer's experience with hi-fi amplifiers to listening on the go. Class A/B amplification works alongside precision-tuned 10 mm neodymium drivers, while a dual-core Qualcomm Kalimba DSP handles digital audio processing. The same amplification principle is used in Cambridge Audio's CX and EX series, adapted here to a compact in-ear design.

LDAC lets you listen at up to 24-bit/96 kHz, while aptX Lossless enables lossless audio with a compatible source device. AAC and SBC are also supported, and the Melomania Connect app lets you check which codec your connection is using. Snapdragon Sound also supports high-bitrate, low-latency connections for music, films and gaming. The codec in use and the available audio quality depend on the connected device.

More room for your music and less noise around you:

Dolby Audio gives stereo playback a wider sense of space and greater depth, with clearer positioning of voices and instruments. The feature is enabled in Melomania Connect and processed within the headphones themselves, so you can also use it when switching between different connected devices. This lets you tailor the experience to your favourite album, a film or a game.

When you need some quiet, Adaptive Hybrid ANC helps reduce background noise. You can adjust noise cancellation in the app or select Transparency Mode when you want to hear more of your surroundings. The app's 7-band equaliser also lets you fine-tune the sound and save your own settings. Touch controls can be customised individually on each earbud, keeping your most-used functions within easy reach.

Ready for calls, commuting and long days of music:

Multipoint allows Melomania A100 SE to stay connected to two devices simultaneously. This is useful when, for example, you are listening on your computer and want to switch to a call on your phone. Six microphones, with three in each earbud, work with Qualcomm cVc technology to reduce noise and echo during calls.

The earbuds and charging case provide up to 39 hours of combined playback with active noise cancellation off, or up to 21 hours with ANC enabled. The case supports wireless and USB-C charging, and a 10-minute fast charge provides up to 3.2 hours of playback with ANC off. IPX5 water resistance protects the earbuds against sweat and splashes, making them suitable for workouts too. The included silicone ear tips in three sizes help you find a comfortable fit.
