The close-fitting circumaural ear cups surround the ears and provide ambient noise attenuation of approx. 35 dB(A).The dynamic design delivers a wide frequency range of 5 to 30,000 Hz and a nominal sound pressure level of 105 dB. With an impedance of 80 Ohm, the DT 770 M are designed for professional monitoring and high listening levels. The closed-back construction also helps keep external sound at bay, making it easier to focus on the monitor signal in noisy working environments. Secure fit and convenient operation:The DT 770 M are designed for a close and secure fit. The robust, adjustable headband has a nominal contact pressure of approx. 6.5 N, while the softskin ear pads fit closely around the ears. The combination of the closed ear cups, ear pads and relatively high contact pressure plays a central role in the headphones' effective passive noise attenuation.The 3 metre straight cable connects to only one ear cup. This reduces the amount of cable around the body compared with a design featuring cables to both ear cups. An integrated volume control on the cable also makes it possible to adjust the listening level directly from the headphones. Connection is via a gold-plated 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack, and a 6.35 mm adapter is included for compatible studio and audio equipment.
