STELLAR.45 driver with 48 Ohm:At the heart of the DT 700 PRO X is beyerdynamic's dynamic STELLAR.45 driver. Its construction incorporates a neodymium ring magnet, copper-clad high-tech wire and a three-layer diaphragm with an integrated damping layer. The low coil weight contributes to fast response and detailed transient reproduction, while the driver construction is designed to keep the voice coil securely positioned in the magnetic gap during large excursions.With an impedance of 48 Ohm, the headphones are designed to deliver their studio sound across a wide range of devices. The nominal sound pressure level is 100 dB SPL at 1 mW/500 Hz and 114 dB SPL at 1 V/500 Hz. The closed acoustic design also combines sound reproduction with specified ambient noise attenuation of 20 dB A. Comfort and robust construction for long sessions:The DT 700 PRO X are built with a focus on both a secure fit and extended use. The headband uses spring steel to provide a stable fit, while the soft velour ear pads allow air to circulate around the ears. The headband padding contains memory foam that adapts to the shape of the head. Both the ear pads and headband pad can be replaced when required.The headphones weigh 350 grams without the cable. The combination of metal in the headband, glass-fibre reinforced components, a robust mini-XLR connector and durable cables is designed for professional everyday use.
