The headphones come with both on-ear and over-ear ear pads, allowing the fit to be changed as needed. The on-ear pads are fitted at the factory, while the over-ear set is included.The over-ear configuration surrounds the ears and is designed for focused monitoring with effective isolation from the surroundings. The on-ear option rests on the ears and provides a more open and mobile working style. The closed-back design provides up to 20 dBA of passive noise isolation. This allows the same headphones to adapt to different approaches to cueing and monitoring without requiring two separate pairs of headphones. 45 mm driver for precise cueing:A dynamic 45 mm driver handles sound reproduction and delivers a frequency response of 5-35,000 Hz. The DJ 300 PRO X is tuned for powerful, detailed sound with clearly defined bass, while kicks, hi-hats and other percussive elements remain clear. This makes it easier to identify rhythmic details when cueing and work precisely with transitions.The nominal impedance is 48 Ohm. The nominal sound pressure level depends on the selected ear pads and is specified at 115 dB with on-ear pads and 109 dB with over-ear pads. The design is specifically developed for DJ use, where clear monitoring and precise timing are key requirements. Locking cable with left or right connection:The detachable special-purpose cable can be connected to either the left or right ear cup, allowing cable routing to be adapted to the current DJ setup. At the headphone end, the connection is secured with a bayonet lock, reducing the risk of the cable being pulled out during use. The cable also features an angled plug at the opposite end.The cable measures 1.5 metres in its standard form and combines straight and coiled sections, allowing it to extend up to 2.5 metres. Connection is via a gold-plated 3.5 mm stereo jack, and a 6.35 mm adapter is included. This provides direct compatibility with equipment featuring these common analogue headphone outputs.
