The closed design provides a high degree of sound isolation, making the headphones suitable for both studio work and use in noisy live environments. The circumaural design surrounds the ears, while the dynamic TESLA.45 driver delivers a sound profile with precise, powerful bass, transparent mids and detailed highs.Each ear cup uses a 45 mm TESLA.45 driver. The diaphragm is made from PEEK polymer, and the construction is optimised with a focus on low distortion and precise impulse response. With an impedance of 30 Ohm, the DT 1770 PRO MK II are designed for use with a wide range of playback and studio equipment. Comfort for long studio sessions:The headband is built around flexible spring steel and features soft memory foam that adapts to the shape of the head. A dedicated recess in the headband reduces pressure on the sensitive area at the top of the head. Both the headband and ear pads can be replaced when required.Two different sets of ear pads are included. The velour pads are soft and breathable and provide a balanced sound, while the synthetic leather ear pads offer a higher degree of isolation from external noise. This makes it possible to choose the pads according to the task and the desired level of isolation. Flexible cabling for studio and stage:The cable connects to the left ear cup via a lockable 3-pin mini-XLR connector, providing a secure connection during use. The DT 1770 PRO MK II are supplied with both a 3 m straight cable and a 5 m coiled cable, allowing the cable type and length to be selected according to the workspace.At the other end, a 3.5 mm stereo jack is used together with a screw-on 6.35 mm adapter. The headphones can therefore be connected to equipment with either of these common jack sizes without changing the cable. The headphones use a wired connection without Bluetooth, so the audio signal is transmitted directly through the physical connection.
