The ANC system scans the ear canal and adjusts the noise cancellation to each individual ear, allowing the technology to work effectively despite the open fit. The system reduces unwanted ambient noise by up to 30 dB and operates across a frequency range up to 2,000 Hz.The open construction is combined with an ergonomic fit, while controls are operated directly on the earbuds via touch. Each earbud weighs just 4.2 g. The earbuds are also IPX4-rated, providing protection against splashing water. Dynamic sound with Adaptive EQ:Sound is delivered by 13 mm dynamic drivers with biofiber diaphragms. The stiffness and natural damping properties of the diaphragm material are designed to limit unwanted vibrations and resonances, contributing to more precise and responsive sound reproduction. The frequency range extends from 20 to 20,000 Hz, sensitivity is 103 dB ±3 dB SPL/mW at 1 kHz, and impedance is 32 Ohm ±15%.Adaptive EQ adjusts the low and mid frequencies according to the ear canal and the current fit of the earbuds. This allows the sound reproduction to be individually adapted without manually adjusting the equalizer. Santa Monica supports the SBC codec and is designed for music, podcasts and calls. Six microphones for calls:Santa Monica uses a total of six MEMS microphones, with three on each side. The microphones support ENC noise reduction, while a dedicated airflow design helps shield the microphones from direct wind exposure. This reduces wind noise and helps keep voices clearer during calls.Bluetooth 6.0 provides the wireless connection with a range of up to 10 metres and support for A2DP, AVRCP and HFP profiles.
